The Curiosity Mars Science Laboratory has been exploring the Red Planet for the past two years and as of today has made many discoveries including a very interesting rock named “John Klein”. This rock is actually the first one NASA has found with signs of ancient water on Mars and it is believed that the water could have come from underground water that has dried out over time.
Today, NASA is looking for additional instruments to improve the science data on Mars and one of the tools they have is called the Life on Mars Project. The Life on Mars project is NASA’s biggest science project ever and it will explore the environment and history of life on the planet Mars. The project is focused on three major themes. The first is exploring the chemistry of Mars and determining the chemical makeup and mineralogy of the surface and the atmosphere of Mars.
The second focus of the Life on Mars project is investigating the habitat, which includes the biology and chemistry of the planet. The third project is exploring the history of life on Mars in terms of the early Mars and whether or not there are any organisms that could be capable of supporting life. There have also been discussions concerning the use of the Space Rocket to Mars so that NASA can reach Mars in the future.
There has also been much talk about getting humans to Mars sooner rather than later, which will mean that humans have a long-term human presence on the planet. With all of this going on, it is easy to see why NASA is working very hard to make sure that the space shuttle program does not interfere with their future plans. For example, they recently cancelled the Constellation Program and now have a new plan in the works.
Once NASA gets a program underway to reach Mars with a robotic lander and a rocket, then they will have to decide if they will have a long-term human presence on the planet. With some planning they can work together with NASA to test out the landing procedures for their new vehicle and if this vehicle has problems during the test phase, they can use the space shuttle program to test out the new landing techniques. They can also have the astronauts fly to Mars to see if the system will work as they would like it to.
As long-term human exploration of Mars requires humans to be able to survive for at least several months, and at times a year or more, if not longer, then this would be a good thing. Not only is it important for human survival but it also helps to determine if Mars is suitable for human life.
Life on Mars is the main priority of the Mars Project and the primary focus of the Space Shuttle Program as well. As part of the Life on Mars project, the Space Shuttle is being upgraded with better tools and technology to explore Mars and other planets in the Solar System. In fact, in the future, the Space Shuttle will carry the Life on Mars Program and carries the Life on Mars Vehicle with the goal of taking astronauts to Mars. They can be on the Space Station for quite some time and then leave the station for Mars, where they can conduct their own Mars missions.
We do have to make sure that our technology is improved so that we don’t have to rely too much on the shuttle in the future. If we could put two people on board the Space Station then we wouldn’t have to rely too much on the shuttle. When we are able to get a robotic lander on Mars then the human crew would go on to explore the surface and determine if the environment is suitable for life or not.
